Commercial HSSE Implementer

<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><p>The purpose of the role is to:</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify and manage HSSE risks across the Retail, B2B &amp; HR CoB</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide HSSEQ support to Finance, and other Corporate functions(CX, CR, Legal, Marketing,…) to ensure the achievement of their HSSEQ objectives</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide specialist advice and support to the Retail&amp;B2B/HR staff, and assist line function in the discharge of their responsibilities as set out in the HSSE MS.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Implement VE HSSE Policies, protocols and standards &amp; legal requirements in Retail&amp;B2B/HR.</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Evaluate HSSE performance in Retail&amp;B2B/HR and monitor implementation of the HSSE MS to achieve business success through HSSE excellence.</p><p>The job is not an advisory position. The incumbent will be a member of the Country QHSSE team and will work also taking into account priorities and action plan set by the Country QHSSE Mgr.</p><p></p><p><strong>Organization</strong>:</p><p>The Commercial HSSE Implementer will report to the Country QHSSE Manager and work closely with the S&amp;D HSSE Implementer and the rest of the team.</p><p>No direct reports, but will be responsible for engagement with line staff/contractors/business partners on implementation of HSSE program</p><p></p><p><strong>Principal Accountabilities</strong>:</p><p><strong>Policies, Standards, Laws, HSSE MS</strong>:</p><ul><li>Working with Country QHSSE Mgr., Facilitate (manual CF and VE standards-Policies, Health and safety-Environmental Laws) compliance review exercise for Retail,B2B &amp;HR, identify remedial actions and allocate responsibilities for compliance actions</li><li>Following compliance review exercise (manual CF and VE standards-Policies, Health and safety-Environmental Laws), follow up on a regular basis remedial actions to achieve 100% compliance</li><li>Work with Retail,B2B&amp;HR team to implement HSSE MS and close timely any identified gap </li></ul><p><strong>Risk Management</strong>:</p><ul><li>Facilitate HEMP Retail,B2B&amp;HR, contribute to risk studies, identify controls and allocate responsibilities for control measures</li><li>Following risk studies (HEMP), provide advice to achieve ALARP and its audit trail</li><li>Facilitate Retail,B2B &amp;HR HEMP update as stated in the HEMP protocol including a frequent update of RAPs</li><li>Ensure compliance with Vivo Energy ePTW protocol</li><li>Ensure compliance with Vivo Energy MOC protocol </li><li>Participate in and facilitate risk assessment and JHA, to ensure that hazards are identified, evaluated, and mitigated in accordance with company HSSE standards</li><li>Monitor contractor HSSE performance. Participate in greenbanding process as a representative of HSSE function</li><li>Assist in implementing site security procedures and access control measures.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Implementation:</strong></p><ul><li>Agree HSSE targets for Retail,B2B, HR &amp; Corporate functions with line manager, contribute to annual T&amp;R process, collate inputs for OU HSSE Manager in a bottoms up” approach and monitor monthly performance</li><li>Develop Annual HSSE Action Plans for Retail&amp;B2B/HR and monitor its implementation</li><li>Coordinate &amp; articipate in emergency preparedness and response planning and drills for Retail,B2B, HR business </li><li>Conduct HSSE inductions &amp; training for employees, contractors, and visitors.</li><li>Facilitate investigation/analysis of all incidents, participate in reviews by Commercial/HR manager, follow-up recommendations and be responsible for effective cascade of LFIs (Lesson from Incidents) and also share with other departments/HSSE team </li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Monitoring/Corrective Actions</strong>:</p><ul><li>Review Retail,B2B&amp;HR HSSE performance on a monthly and timely basis, agree corrective action plans with line manager and contribute to achievement of continuous improvement</li><li>Provide support to Commercial/HR Manager for annual HSSE assurance and monitor </li><li>implementation of action items for continuous improvement</li><li>Ensure efficient monitoring of various audits and compliance issues</li><li>Prepare monthly HSSE reports, statistics, dashboards, and KPIs</li></ul><p><strong>Audits</strong>:</p><ul><li>Participate in Retail,B2B&amp;HR internal and external HSSE audits; </li><li>Perform regular HSSE visits in Retail sites under construction or refurbishment (High/Medium HSSE risks);</li><li>Conduct regular HSSE inspections across Retail sites, B2B, and HR facilities to verify compliance with company standards and identify improvement opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong>Competence development</strong>:</p><ul><li>Assist Retail,B2B &amp;HR teams to close their HSSE Competency gaps in line with VE HSSE mandatory trainings; </li><li>Assist B2B teams to train B2B customers in coordination with QHSSE Mgr and as per customers request;</li></ul><p>Assist in Retail Station staff HSSE training as per request;</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Challenges</strong>:&nbsp;</p><p>This job requires effective leadership skills, time management and communication skills. The jobholder must have a strong sense of project planning, teamwork and ability to deliver through others. </p>
