Job Description
The Humanitarian Advisor serves as a senior locally employed expert supporting the Department of State’s regional response to the Venezuela humanitarian crisis from the Bogotá Foreign Assistance Hub. The incumbent provides technical guidance on humanitarian and health programming across Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador. The Advisor supports program oversight and management for the health, protection, WASH, and food security sectors to ensure strategic coherence, efficiency, and alignment with U.S. foreign policy priorities. The position serves as a critical link between field-based implementers, Embassy Bogotá, and Washington, providing technical oversight of regional humanitarian and health interventions.
