Job Description
The Program Specialist, EVAW will be responsible for the good implementation of the EVAW portfolio, including technical and financial responsibility; providing advice on this theme to the management of the office; participating in the development of programs and projects related to the priorities of the portfolio, and developing a vision of the portfolio aligned with UN Women's Global Strategy and national priorities; influencing the development of policies aimed at eliminating violence against women and girls, including cooperating with civil society and high-level government representatives. The Program Specialist, EVAW will also be responsible for ensuring synergy between their portfolio and the different programs and initiatives of the office. The Program Specialist, EVAW will supervise the work of a Program Assistant.
