Rangeland Management Specialist (Cluster Lead)

The Rangeland Management Specialist (Cluster Lead) will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support to the development and implementation of FAO's rangeland management programme. The incumbent will work closely with the FAO Country Office in Mali and other relevant stakeholders to identify and address the needs of rangeland management in the country. The Specialist will also provide technical assistance to the Government of Mali and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and strategies for sustainable rangeland management. The Specialist will also be responsible for providing technical support to the development of projects and programmes related to rangeland management, including the development of project proposals, concept notes and other relevant documents. The Specialist will also be responsible for providing technical support to the implementation of projects and programmes related to rangeland management, including the monitoring and evaluation of project progress and the identification of lessons learned.
